New: Dispatch Power in Every Pocket
For hospitals without a 24/7 centralized SOC, or for officers in remote clinics, a radio call is often the only notification. This leaves them with no way to see the incident details or coordinate the response.
With our new Responder actions in the Canopy Protect Mobile App, we’re putting the power of the dispatch console right into the hands of every officer.
- Instant Updates: From any Android or iOS device, responders can now see, acknowledge, respond to, and resolve alerts on the go.
- Eliminate Ambiguity: When an officer accepts an alert, the entire system updates. This instantly eliminates response ambiguity and ensures every incident is closed out faster and more clearly.
- Empower Distributed Teams: Your teams in clinics or out-patient facilities are now empowered to operate with the efficiency of a central SOC, no matter their location.

Inside the web app, dispatchers can now View Responders Nearby, giving your Security Console:
- Real-Time Location: Instantly see the closest available responders relative to an active alert.
- Immediate Dispatch: Stop guessing. You can now identify and radio the closest officer directly, slashing critical minutes off your alert response time.
Part 2: Data-Driven Prevention "After-the-Fact"

New: Turn Incident into Insights with Incident Classifications
We built Canopy's new Incident Classifications workflow to move beyond a simple "incident handled" and create a detailed digital paper trail for every alert.
How it Works:
- Move Beyond Basic Dispositions: When closing an alert, dispatchers or responders can now categorize the specific type of violence or duress—such as "Patient-on-Staff Assault," "Verbal Threat," or "Duress by Patient Advocate"—directly within the Canopy console.
