Applicability of this Privacy Policy
Thank you for choosing to be part of our community at Canopy Works, Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. When you use our mobile application, as the case may be (the "App") and more generally, use any of our services (the "Services", which include the App), we appreciate that you are trusting us with your personal information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this privacy notice, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it. We hope you take some time to read through it carefully, as it is important. If there are any terms in this privacy notice that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of our Services immediately.
This privacy notice applies to all information collected through our Services (which, as described above, includes our App), as well as, any related services, sales, marketing or events.
Canopy has prepared this Privacy Policy to explain (1) what personal information we collect, (2) how we use and share that information, and (3) your choices concerning our privacy and information practices.
1. What information do we collect?

If you use our App, we collect the following information:
- Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the App. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings.
2. What are your privacy rights?
In Short: You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.
Withdrawing your consent: If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express and/or implied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by using the contact details provided in the section "How can you contact us about this notice?" below.
However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal nor, when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

3. Controls for Do-Not-Track features
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
4. Do we make updates to this notice?
In Short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.
We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Revised" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes to this privacy notice, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this privacy notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.

Data Retention
Your account information (such as your name, phone number, and email address) is retained for as long as your account remains active in your organization's Canopy deployment. When your organization removes your account, your personal information is deleted from our active systems immediately, with residual copies removed from backups within seven days. One exception applies: your name may remain in your organization's alert and incident history, which we retain on behalf of your organization under our agreement with them. When your organization's service agreement with Canopy ends, all data associated with that organization, including any personal information, is deleted from our active systems within 24 hours, with residual copies removed from backups within seven days.
How Can You Delete Your Data?
Canopy is provided to you through your employer or organization, which owns and administers your account. We process your personal information on behalf of your organization as a service provider, and your organization controls the creation, management, and deletion of user accounts. To delete your account or opt out of Canopy, contact your organization's Canopy administrator. When your organization removes your account, we delete your personal information as described in the Data Retention section above, except that your name may be retained within alert and incident records we maintain under our agreement with your organization or as required by applicable law.If you are unsure who your administrator is, or have any questions about your data, contact us at info@canopyworks.com and we will direct your request to your organization or assist as appropriate. Please note that signing out of or uninstalling the App does not delete your account. Account removal must be performed by your organization.
